GAYATRI MANTRA FOR MEDITATING

Gayatri mantra is the most powerful mantra to meditate. Why? because Gayatri mantra has syllable "OM" that refer to GOD and this is the best rhyme (based on Bhagavad Gita). Gayatri mantra will bring your mind to the most peaceful world. But, one thing you have to do is pronounce it properly.

I have looked for good Gayatri mantra MP3 from yoga-mind-control.com. This is good version for meditating.

BHAGAVAD GITA 2.47

ma phalesu kadacana
ma karma-phala-hetur bhur
ma te sango ’stv akarmani

You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty.

NITISASTRA 1.16

amedhyadapi kancanam

Even from poison extract nectar,
wash and take back gold if it has fallen in filth,
receive the highest knowledge even from a low born person;
so also a girl possessing virtuous qualities (stri-ratna) even if she be born in a disreputable family

If the king is virtuous, then the subjects are also virtuous.
If the king is sinful, then the subjects also become sinful.
If he is mediocre, then the subjects are mediocre.
The subjects follow the example of the king. In short, as is the king so are the subjects.
